The T.A.C.O.

Nobody knows when, where, how, or why, but the Temporal Alteration and Correction Organization has been tasked with creating the best future for humanity.  The fact that it exists is probably a paradox, but that doesn't matter.  Their motto is For the betterment of Humanity and they exemplify this idea, no matter what the cost is. They can make the choices that would make normal people sick to their stomach as long as it is for the betterment of humanity.
